Yusuf Demir is an Austrian professional footballer who plays for Rapid Vienna in Austrian Football Bundesliga as an attacking midfielder. He is an absolute dibbler beast and has exceptional vision and good decision-making ability. There were many players like him who were expect to be the next Messi but they ended up destroying their career because of bad influence or couldn’t bear the pressure of the title ‘NEXT MESSI”. I see his potential and I think he will definitely prove his talent but the media should not put any pressure on such a player or else he might end up like Bojan Krkic and Hachim Mastour.
He has amazing dribbling skills like Messi in his younger days. He doesn’t have proper long ball passing accuracy while he has amazing through ball passes. Unlike Messi, he does not have that leader quality which is okay not everyone is Lionel Messi. He plays as the number 10 position and he is the main for the counter-attacks. He is very good at placing the ball which quite rare because most of the player takes that chance to bang the ball hard which is seen in most footballers.
This season he made 22 appearances and scored 6 goals and gave 2 assists. He is the little magician of the club. Many big clubs are interested in signing him such as Barcelona, Manchester United, Real Madrid, Bayern Munich, Borussia Dortmund, Ajax and Red Bull Salzburg have all also been linked with his signature, with a big move now seems likely to be done by next transfer season.
For his talent to increase more I personally think he should go to Borussia Dortmund where I think he will improve a lot and develop and gain more experience. We should hope that his talent should not be wasted like the rest of the others known as NEXT MESSI.
